Ari is an Obie Award-winning actress, born and raised in the city of Chicago. She received her MFA from the Yale School of Drama and a BA from Vassar College. She has originated roles in new plays across the country, including Rolin Jones's These Paper Bullets! (Atlantic Theater Company/Geffen Playhouse) and Tracy Letts's Mary Page Marlowe (Steppenwolf Theatre). She made her Broadway debut in Letts’s The Minutes. On TV, Ari plays Alya Feinberg in season 2 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and can be seen in the Hulu series Monsterland. Ari also co-hosts the dinner party podcast “Having A Night” with Sophie Von Haselberg. In 2022 she won an special Obie citation for her performance alongside Nadine Malouf in Kate Tarker’s Montag at Soho Rep, directed by Dustin Wills. She is currently performing in Wills's sold-out hit The Marriage of Figaro at Little Island, starring Anthony Roth Costanzo.
